The right to establish associations and higher institutions for the employers and employees to protect and elaborate their members' economic and social rights and interests in the industrial relations has been guaranteed with the acts of 1961 and 1982 Constitutions and Law For Unions numbered 275 and 2821.

Cement Industry Employers' Association, CEIS, was founded in 28th November 1964 by 6 Cement Company to operate in the cement industry. Today it is one of the most powerful and prestigious association of the country with 30 members.

Our Association has been operating all the collective bargaining with the employees association on behalf of the members and has concluded these collective bargainings since it was founded. A consensus have always been provided on the sector level with the concluded collective bargainings and the member companies have been savoured the peace and order that had been provided by the arrangements.

Our Association not only has functions in the collective bargaining process but also informs members about labour life and other subjects by doing researches, following the legislation and collecting and commenting on statistical data.

On the other hand, CEIS provides information about legislative amendments and especially the judicial decisions, arranging seminars and conferences, providing technical support in economical, social and legislative topics, providing counciling services, preparing and applying surveys can be counted as our other operating areas.

CEIS, which is the member of Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TISK) that represents the members in the meetings properly both in Turkey and abroad, has the principle to defend the ideas of our members in all areas especially in industrial relations on the social and political platforms reflects it to the society.

As a consequence, CEIS would like to emphasize that the main objective is to protect and elaborate our position according to changing circumstances with the assistance of the power and support of our members.
